Mission

Magnolia New Beginnings, Inc. is dedicated to advocating for those affected with a substance use disorder, creating educational opportunities to inform and raise awareness about substance abuse, and supporting those with this disease and their families in the process of seeking recovery, maintaining sobriety, and reaching their highest potential through a new beginning.

Magnolia New Beginnings, Inc. is a public charity incorporated in Massachusetts, having obtained its 501(c)3 status in May 2014. The  mission is consistent with the tax-exempt purposes of creating opportunities for individuals whose life circumstances have prevented them from becoming optimally self-sufficient or reaching their highest potential.

We provide peer support in our 33 state specific and specialty facebook groups such as Grief Support, Grandparents Raising Grandchildren etc…. These groups require a request to be admitted and only those in the group can see and comment on posts. Please do not suffer in silence if you are supporting someone in recovery (https://www.facebook.com/groups/beforethepetalsfall/)or in need of help (https://www.facebook.com/groups/MagnoliaWeDoRecover/ ).

We welcome submissions from Bloggers on topics relevant to substance use disorder, furthering the continuum of care through supported living,  family and peer support and recovery. Please fill out contact form below.

Please see our main website at http://www.magnolianewbeginnings.org or our Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/MagnoliaNewBeginnings/ to see how you can make a tax deductible contribution or get involved!

  1. Interesting! The job I started in May is for an organization that owns 30 homes in Alberta where men and women in recovery can pay modest rent and live in safe, clean neighbourhoods away from danger areas. They benefit from the peer to peer support of their roommates as well as access and referrals from passionate staff who have also been there themselves! If you like, check it out here: http://www.oxfordhouse.ca

And good for you, I'm so proud of you!
